| Description | Innovation Changes Life! In 1993, Tianwei was officially founded. Tianwei used to be called Shangyu Guowei Umbrella Co., Ltd.. In 2000, it was renamed Shaoxing Tianwei Umbrella Co., Ltd.. Then it was upgraded into Zhejiang Tianwei Umbrella Co.,Ltd. in 2011. Each renaming represents Tianwei's qualitative change and leap. 20 years ago , it was just an individual workshop, but now it has developed into a vice-president unit of China Umbrella Industry Association, where Tianwei is taking charge of its development and upgrading. Tianwei is located in the most developed region of China---Southeast of Yangtze River Delta, core of "Umbrella City" of Shangyu District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. It is 90 kilometers from Ningbo Port, 170 kilometers from Shanghai Port, 60 kilometers from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport and 3 kilometers from high-speed railway station to Tianwei headquarter. Thus, it is quite convenient for transportation. With the humble working attitude, non-stop enterprising spirit and efforts by two generations, we now have the most completed process from umbrella development and design, cover making, rib electroplating, the development and production of shaft, runner and frame, to umbrella development and assembling. Now there are more than 1,200 people working in Tianwei. Our production area has exceeded 100,000 square meters and over 70,000 pieces of umbrellas can be finished every day. Annual volume can be over 20,000,000 pieces. We now have eight different functional companies, such as Zhejiang Tianwei Umbrella Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Tianhe Rain Gear Design Co., Ltd., Shangyu Tianwei Electroplate Co., Ltd., Shangyu Tianhan Industry&Trade Co., Ltd.,Shangyu Baohongxing Metalware Co., Ltd., Shangyu Qinda Packing Co., Ltd., Hongkong Fantasies Creating and Design Company and Hongkong Bi'an Trading Company. We regard Germany, Japan and USA as our services core, help superior-brand customers, terminal stores and professional importing wholesaler provide free services, such as some market research, brand positioning and pricing, design and development of new commodity, regional test and inspection regarding different standards, some suggestion of show programs to customers from terminal stores, all of which can help customers have competitive advantage and leadership position in their own markets.
