It has cooperated with American Caterpillar, Japanese Hino, DENSO and MHI.The products have a capability of application suitable for construction machinery such as loaders, road-rollers, cranes, bulldozers, graders and excavators as well as automobiles, marine vessels, generating sets and agricultural equipments. SDEC passed the certification of QS9000 and TS16949 quality systems in 2002 and 2005 respectively. In the latter year the "SDEC Power" was awarded the title of "Chinese Famous brand" product.And in the same year the company, under the business philosophy of " scientific technology and innovation" took the lead in establishing the first power-train engineering institute in the industry to build up and R&D platform for worldwide cooperation. SDEC Powertrain was awarded as the Best Engine Producer of the Year BAAV Awards on March 28, at Busworld ASIA 2006 by its exhibition of SC-D family electronically controlled diesel engine.This is the second times for SDEC to win such annual prize regarding engine in two consecutive years.
