| Description | Hunan Provincial Baishaxi Tea Industry Co.,ltd. Formerly called Hunan Baishaxi Tea Plant(state-owned),is reformed from the Hunan Brick Tea Plant,which was established by Mr.Peng Xianze(Yu Mengqi) , who hold Bachelor' degree from Kyushu University of Japan and is the former associate director of the Tea Management Office commissioned by the Construction Department of Hunan Province. The plant is the birthplace of Brick Tea, with a history of over 74years. The plant is situated at the northeast of the XueFeng mountain range. Against the mountain and facing Zi river, it is a great place witnessing several breakthroughs in the history of Brick Tea , namely the first Black Brick Tea, the first Fu Brick Tea , and the first Hua Brick Tea. It develop Cyan Brick Tea and pu'er Tea, and improved traditional teas like Shengjian Tea and Huajuan Tea (usually called as Qianliang Tea). It has provided precious information for the flourishing of Hunan Brick Tea industry,and cultivated a large number of talents. In 1956, it was listed in the national top 5 excellent tea plant. In the history of China's Brick Tea development, the Baishaxi Tea Plant plays a significant role. |
